Hay ocasiones en las que nos sentimos sin fuerzas, cansados, malhumorados o sin ganas de hablar con nadie, cuando esto sucede es el momento de hacer un alto en el día para volver a reunir esa energía que a veces se escapa sin saber por qué.
Lo primero que tenemos que hacer es descansar la mente para que se renueve y podamos recuperar nuestro autocontrol y nuestras energías.
Para eso deberemos buscar un sitio tranquilo donde podamos estar solos, que esté ventilado y a ser posible sin ruidos. Nos sentaremos con la espalda recta y los brazos apoyados en las rodillas, puede ser en el suelo y con la espalda apoyada en la pared.
Cerraremos los ojos y mentalmente repasaremos cada parte de nuestro cuerpo, desde los pies a la cabeza mientras vamos aflojando poco a poco todos los músculos, empezando por pies, piernas, vientre, espalda, pecho, brazos, hombros, cuello, cabeza y cara.
Llegará un momento en que notaremos que tenemos los músculos de nuestro cuerpo están relajados, entonces, nos concentraremos en la respiración durante al menos un par de minutos y mientras tanto trataremos de visualizar algún lugar donde nos gustaría estar en esos momentos para evadirnos, como por ejemplo, una playa, un parque, una montaña nevada o inclusive una escena familiar que nos traiga recuerdos felices.
Después de unos minutos, abriremos los ojos y nos estiraremos lentamente. Notaremos que hemos recuperado otra vez nuestras energías, y la explicación de ese nuevo bienestar es que tu cerebro no sabe si has estado realmente en ese lugar visualizado o lo has imaginado, por lo cual el cerebro disfruta igual de la experiencia.
Llevando a cabo la realización de esta técnica de relajación, en algún momento, todos los días, ya que solo nos llevará unos minutos, nuestro cuerpo y sobre todo nuestra mente lo agradecerá.
